Affordable Housing Opportunity
We are accepting applications for rent-to-own homes planned for future construction. Below are the eligibility requirements for any applicants interested in one of the homes being built in St. Paul. We are currently preparing to build a single-family home (spring 2025) and anticipate building one more single-family home and possibly two duplexes in the next few years.
Eligibility Requirements
1. Applicants will be required to participate in a home ownership training webinar.
2. Applicants must currently reside in the St Paul, AB region.
3. Applicants must be able to achieve approximate mortgage payments of $1,250.00 per month plus taxes and utilities.
4. Applicants must be willing to assume responsibility for maintaining the property to an acceptable standard. (subject to inspection)
5. During the rental period, pets will not be allowed.
6. Applicants will be required to contribute 500 hours of community service.

Applicants must agree to the following:
- Interviews with SPACH Society members and their agents (i.e. financial advisors)
- Rental reference checks
- Personal reference checks
- Financial means assessment
- Disclosure of the names and ages of family members who will occupy the home
- Submission of any and all plans to guarantee their success in this program, personal, social and financial
- Sharing information regarding previous home ownership experience
